DISTURBING INDEED, but THERE IS HOPE

I find the following very disturbing, but there is a point to this that is hopeful rather than discouraging – be sure to read to the end.

  • I find it disturbing that schools and universities in the US are often teaching what to think, instead of how to think.
  • I find it disturbing that most of the mainstream media is pushing an ideology, rather than practicing good journalism.
  • I find it disturbing that the corruption in our government is so severe and goes so deep that it has impacted the “watchdogs” themselves – FBI, CIA, NSA, District Attorneys, and Judges.
  • I find it disturbing that we have lost some of the checks and balances and now have super majorities (like we have in Portland) that can push through whatever taxes and laws they want, uncontested.
  • I find it disturbing that we have activist judges who rule from the bench and effectively making laws instead of seeking justice and supporting our Constitution.
  • I find it disturbing that the very people elected to protect us are the ones not only allowing violent mob rule and destruction, but also the ones who often encourage it.
  • I find it disturbing that people are being taught to hate. They’re being taught to hate the greatest country on earth, a refuge and a beacon of hope to the world. They’re being taught to hate freedom itself, and taught to hate anyone who disagrees.
  • I find it disturbing that some are trying to erase or change our history and teach a false narrative.
  • I find it disturbing that women will march for the “right” to kill their own children.
  • I find it disturbing that some preachers don’t see how God can condemn sin or immoral lifestyles, and preach that their “preferred sins” are okay. Who made them God? We are all sinners – it is only through God’s grace and his son Jesus that we are freed from sin. We don’t get to decide which sins are okay and which ones are not.
  • I find it disturbing that millions of Americans voted for a corrupt career politician who openly plans to destroy our country and take away our rights. A man who uses his elected position for financial gain for him and his family, and puts our countries security at risk.
  • I find it disturbing that many people believe the lies they are told by mainstream media and commercials and vote to take away our freedoms, increase taxes, and support guaranteed poverty and suffering (socialism).
  • I find it disturbing that people have been falsely taught to hate the man that is representing the people, and who is also fighting against the corrupt “elites” that are destroying our country.
  • I find it disturbing that there is so much fraud and that people are willing to justify cheating, because they disagree with or have been taught to hate the other side, in an attempt to steal an election.
  • I find it disturbing that religions such as entertainment, environmentalism, money, cancel culture, and a long list of others have taken the place for many of the only religion that will truly fill the empty place in their life and bring lasting peace.

I could go on and on and on with the list of disturbing issues, but the point I want to make is that our Country has a sickness much worse than the Wuhan Covid virus. Our Country is severely infected with sin. Our country needs a heart change. Four more years of Trump buys us some time to prevent the downfall of the United States, but it doesn’t change the root of the problem – our Country has turned its back on God. Our hope is not in mankind, or Trump, or Government, or new laws, or the Supreme Court. It is true we need to fight for these things, they are important and many have fought and died to protect our freedoms, but our only true hope is in Jesus.

We don’t need a Revolution, we need a Revival!
